      Salary was good and there was a yearly increase

      Cons

      Was a very toxic work environment and management was very oppressive. Staff are not heard!

      -Get to work with interesting people, especially overseas -Work is rarely stagnant, both due to lots of interesting projects and high turnover

      Cons

      -Pressure to run unsustainable margins across all practice areas -Pervasive lack of accountability -Pay is below median for sector -Poor relationships with clients severely damages potential

      Pros

      Flexible working hours (relative to industry, but not totally flex). Culture of collaboration and personal support. Opportunities for skills, knowledge, and responsibility growth. Lots of people stay around for a long time (5+ years or more).

      Cons

      Compensation tied exclusively to title, not responsibilities-- negotiate up front!-- only entertain increases once per year (same time for all employees). Reliant on employees to care about working in International Development industry (lower pay compared to tech) while billing the government for tech company rates and expertise.
