Pros

It's a good place to gain some technical skills for entry level engineers. Stay for a couple of years then move on. If you're lucky enough to have a good boss then your experience could be fulfilling. Office is generally laid back.

Cons

If you stay 10 years, you get $1,000 for your loyalty. 10 years starting from 2012, not when you actually started. If there's a natural disaster that forces an office to close, you will be asked to use accrued vacation days or personal leave to make up the hours. That pretty much sums up how out of touch upper management is. The bottom line rules everything. Engineers at all skill levels are seen as commodities and are easily replaceable, even though the company says otherwise. Opportunities to advance your career within the company is poor. The movie Office Space is a pretty accurate depiction of how the company is run.

Unethical. Look elsewhere.

Pros

The opportunity to learn from their mistakes. Some of the projects are interesting. You will likely work with a few skilled and intelligent people, but they rarely stay for more than a year or two.

Cons

As others have stated, you will be asked to work for free on a regular basis. You will have no work/life balance. You will be told to bill your time to projects you have never worked on. You will work for managers who can be described at best as mediocre salesman who are generally unqualified for their positions and lack maturity and leadership skills. The "sweatshop" reputation is valid. Thrifty to a fault. Often refuses to pay for tools needed to complete projects while wasting funds elsewhere.

Pros

Overall great company. Great benefits. Good equipment. Great company policy and values.

Cons

Favortism towards employees. Did not feel like part of the team. Tattle telling and brown nosing. Asking employees to lie to client's contractors. No team communication.
