Pros

Pay is good, but not great, if you work hard to break base. The other techs usually are cool people and will be able to relate to them and make some good quality friends. If you're a ladder climber, that's what this company wants. Tons of opportunity to go entry level to manager in no time.

Cons

No training, you learn whatever the best tech at your branch is willing to tell and show you. Endless billing issues for customers, and you as the tech spend your time trying to collect past due balance. Only company left that doesn't allow trucks to go home. Branches in CA always in some low end ghetto area. Profit sharing for 401k is pathetic, don't expect to retire with their contribution, look for a company that will give you a match. Long term this is the difference between thousands of dollars. Most pest companies don't require to be clean shaven in the year 2025 but Dewey is STRICT on shaving every day. Medical for a family is insane expensive. A family of 3+ is/was $800+ a month and this is the lowest option. Vacation accrual for new hires is slow, 0-2 years is only 2 hours a pay period. 3.33 hours from 3-10 years. Hope you don't want any days off.
