Pros

There is nothing i can say good about working here

Cons

Working here is like digging your own grave. no one values you here. at start they will give you an impression that this is a good growing company. what do you get? managers you has an ego larger than the planet we are living in. suspensions here and there. HR management who acts fast when it comes to suspensions. but with benefits concern goodluck. you will fall onto deaf ears. lies lies and lies. and each and every day . they will remind you that you are dispensable easy to replace. so Goodluck applying here. you will only be happy here if you work as a supervisor or manager. because they treat employees like slaves. if your sick? goodluck. the only ones who enjoys working here are HR, and management. and even customer advocacy position. and working as a tech support here. you will be met with angry customers who continous to cuss at you while you fake a smile because T his company focuses on making lives harder for an employee rather than improving there own product. and oh 2 covid outbreaks because of lack of attention

Pros

Good team, base salary is decent, good benefits

Cons

A lot of micro managing and plans to record every step employees do in the future. No down time between calls. Employees don't get enough support with patients that are rude and patient get what they want even if they are in the wrong. No extra pay or thanks if you do more like mentoring or perform great. Everyone is just stressed and miserable and gets no fair compensation for what they do.

Pros

Opportunities for career growth exist and hard work is rewarded There are some good people working here that are trying to make a positive difference. Unfortunately they are outnumbered by people who aren't helping the situation.

Cons

Large organisations that "feel like a startup", are "fast paced" and where "no two days are the same" are red flags (in this case) for poor management and inter-departmental dysfunction. There are some companies that can strike the right balance between feeling like a startup and being a large enterprise, but this wasn't one of them. They are in desperate need of an influx of new staff who have experience in scaling out a company that has experienced 10x growth. Dexcom feels more like a collection of organisations with a shared goal, rather than a single employer, with each of these organisations prioritising different things, with incongruent methods and who all need you to work on something else, at the same time. A lot of this comes down to improper structuring of teams and a culture of role ambiguity throughout the company. There are high levels of stress and it is very easy to end up with an unmanageable workload. Deadlines are tight and frequent, context switching is a daily if not hourly occurrence and unpaid overtime can become a habit rather than the exception. I would think twice before applying to work here, people get burned out.
