Dear Former Employee, Wow! You mentioned some good stuff and not-so-good stuff in your review. To the pros: Thank you for recognizing the awesome people we work with here at DigiCert and the amazing culture they help us create. We hire the best and it shows in comments like yours! We agree that our products are great and are only getting better as we deliver on our Product roadmap. To the cons: Your comments concern us, and we’re surprised you had this experience. We provide a safe and confidential way for employees to share practices or issues that concern them through our whistleblower tool. We’re sorry you didn’t get to utilize that service which may have resolved a number of these issues for you in real-time. However, our Chief People Officer, Sinead, would like to meet with you to discuss your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to the People team and we’ll arrange a meeting. Best wishes, DigiCert People Team

Terrible place

Pros

Some coworkers, food, breakroom, stocked kitchen, game room and little overwatch

Cons

Everything else. Management is horrible. This whole department is infected with nepotism. Global director promotes or recommends his family and friends for positions they didn't even apply for. This whole company is built on an obsolete product that is offered for free from competitors and has more up to date software and services. Our solution is to offer the same products with different names for 10x the price and horrible service. They keep trying to add more and more products to keep us profitable as more people transition away. This whole place is a mess. Sales works 10-20 hours a week and makes 4x the money. Support and Authentication works 40-60 hours plus holidays and gets walked on by the company.

How far the mighty have fallen

Pros

A very fast growing company

Cons

Since being bought by Toma Bravo and then when they bought out Symantec the culture has gone from 100 to maybe 10 in the validation department. Digicert used to prove its worth by beating any other company's customer service. This is no longer Digicert's priority apparently. Which is a mystery to everyone in validation. Let's not forget that Symantec was forced to sell their company because of poor validation. Now Digicert wants the department run by short term part time college freshman as a summer job. If they continue to do this they will get poorer and poorer validation. I fear history is repeating itself. Nail in the coffin was the other day they let us know that full-timers in validation in two U.S. offices would not get a bonus but all other full-time employees would. . .
