Pros

The desire to help and share knowledge is something I have never experienced in any of my previous jobs. Was I just unlucky or DO is truly special in this regard?

Cons

I expected to see a little less engineering technical debt for a company of this age and size, but all in all nothing too scary.

I think we are pretty special! Being a deliberatively developmental organization means we share knowledge and help each other learn and grow. That's how we continually raise the bar on performance and impact in a healthy, sustainable fashion. And I agree that like any fast growing technology organization, we have our fair share of technical debt, but it's something we're intentionally working on.
