      Pros

      Super remote-friendly, fast paced, lots of engineering challenges. Using a cool tech stack, cool architecture. Lots of opportunity for advancement. Very strong interview/onboarding process, upper-tier (not quite FAANG but still extremely good) compensation/benefits. Managers, mine at least, are vested in helping their direct reports succeed in their careers, get promoted, etc. Very supportive environment.

      Cons

      Technical debt in some areas of the org; consistency in engineering practices could be greatly improved. There is a lot of expectation, so you better be prepared to put in the work and get up to speed. Not a place to "park" your career by any means.

      Pros

      The amazing products and people at DO make it a great place to work. You feel the DO love the second you walk into the door.

      Cons

      Lots of changes in leadership have made it difficult for alignment at the top - but with new leaders in place, this is hopefully going to change. There hasn't been a historic emphasis on structured career development or D&I but with a new people lead in place - this will likely also change.
