Pros

the staff are the main issue, and the team from Taiwan are mostly inspirational

Cons

- organisational chaos, - between the management and the floor service is a mess and it shows - the bar mostly makes bubble tea and juice in cloudy glasses - if they put you on contract (pay per annum) you get overworked if you get paid per hour they slash your hours - they sack people for petty reasons

Pros

The company has a family culture and values each employee. Initiatives for higher staff engagement and staff retention are more often than not, supported by the management. With a flat hierarchy, most if not all individuals are given a lot of learning opportunities and exposure.

Cons

With a harmonious environment, employees in the company has less incentives to challenge themselves to push beyond their boundaries and challenge status quo. Through personal observations and weighing against my personal preference, I view this as a con for both the company and the individuals working inside it.
