      Friends and Family--Nepotism of Public Company is not good for Shareholder Value

      Pros

      Due to the hiring of friends and family as directed by the CEO others have to pick up the slack allowing a person to do many tasks and "grow". People who are not related can learn many areas and work as hard as they want to. Flexible work environment allowing certain employees to work out at lunch for 2+ hours, creates a good balance for some people. Most of the employees who are doing the majority of the work are hard workers, efficient, good people and dedicated. Company is profitable and continues to grow.

      Cons

      Employees see the nepotism and preferential treatment that goes on in the company and this impacts the moral of employees. Shareholders need to be aware.
