Pros
Friendly coworkers who genuinely like each other
Cons
Store mangers lie to your face. They’ll start you at 16/hr then intentionally delay your online training so you don’t go up to 17/hr. “Hands on training” is actually you just do someone else’s job for you while they point you to bring 130 tires upstairs. Once you’re able to do anything you’ll be put in the shop and left there making 16/hr while everyone else makes 20+ because the managers try to take advantage of you if you don’t know any better. Lots of propaganda videos and books to read, explaining how the founder is such a great guy. It’s extremely narcissistic to spew such nonsense to every single employee and call that “training”. They’ll promise you’ll be assistant manager by next year hoping you don’t notice 5 other people have to be assistant manager before you. According to their own policy they promote from within…sooo how would someone start and be assistant manager in 1 year?
