Pros

Great people to work with and great cardmembers to interract with daily while handling their financial concerns.

Cons

A lot of micromanaging and very subjective with reviews. This company rates your interractions with cardmembers frequently and grades them subjectively. What constitutes as a "great call" today may not tomorrow. If you like being Overly critiqued (even in front of your peers)...this is the job for you. When u turn your back, there will be someone sitting there listening to your every word while you are on the phone! Eerie! Everyday u will be told what you need to improve on and the data they measure your performance on is very inaccurate. They go through employees. Work there and you will see why

Pros

Great pay, benefits, work life balance, coworkers, and workload. I worked in a particular department that had a lot of backstabbing with project managers taking credit for other people's work. Looking back I see now that I gained so much experience from this place that it was really worth it. It's very easy to find another job with Discover on your resume.

Cons

Office politics, low creativity, low morale. It is almost impossible to get promoted here.
