Pros

Good pay. Lots of days off. Fun people to work with. Great name to have on the resume. Senior management is very down to earth and approachable.

Cons

Employees stay there way too long. Internal politics and territorialism makes it impossible to truly work across business lines. Upper middle management suffers from paralysis by analysis.

Pros

Discover is very easy to get settle in when starting. The environment is very friendly, and feels like you are working for a small business.

Cons

Discover does not have many opportunities for growth. The salaries are not very competitive with other banks. The requirements and qualifications of their employees are not very strong so I feel that management is not as educated in the field as should be. There is no competitive nature with in the company, and you can find yourself stuck in limbo with your career. Discover does not have appealing relocation packages.

Pros

Good working atmosphere. Work-life balance. Lots of activities and sharings.

Cons

Salaries not competitive enough. Mostly in a supportive role, not really involve in decision making. Not seeing lots of developing oppotunities.
