Pros

Great culture of geeks and creative people. Not just a tech company, but a hybrid with an entertainment company. Old school company with people who have been working there for more then 30+ years. Also, every other Friday off, great location in the city, and opportunities to travel.

Cons

Company never had an agenda for UI/UX. Career advancement seem difficult depending on department. UI/UX felt like an after thought mostly.

Pros

Off Fridays = you really just work from home. Decent pay; not competitive with tech companies though. Can’t think of any more pro..trying to fulfill your 20 word min.

Cons

Poor senior management! It’s very much a boys club. Almost zero diversity, very apathetic culture. It’s sad given Ray Dolby’s legacy.

Pros

Market Leader supplying to a lot of leading companies in the industry, innovative company with good pay.

Cons

Political, with frequent reorganizations and change of business decisions. Benefits at field offices are vastly different(less) than HQ. Career Opportunities are limited.
