Traditionally it has been an engineering first company, which can be great if you are an engineer. If not, it can be a hard road to have your voice heard. The senior leadership team (with a few exceptions) is still fairly young and learning what it means to operate a company at this level, the associated growing pains should be expected but can be hard on the organization. If you really want to do work, in a company with a respectful atmosphere avoid this place like the plague. The incentives 9/80 schedule etc; are great but attracts the worst kind of politically motivated management who want titles but not the work. This is especially true about the video team in Sunnyvale.
