Pros

Every other Friday off. Super smart people. Creates amazing experiences on Audio and Video.

Cons

Spend long times, even months on discussions to make decisions. Not high tech mindset... moving there but not yet. Took them more than 6 years to launch a Cloud based product. Still focused on traditional licensing business.

Pros

- Respected company within the industry - Reasonable accessibility to executives - Dolby is prioritizing positive work culture and growing changes.

Cons

- 5 years ago, Dolby did not have any employees that were not mid-level. Dolby is learning how to compensate early career employees as they graduate out of entry level - Slow decision making - Old school culture. Not always a con, but sometimes is frustrating when surrounded by fast-moving, progressive companies
