Pros

Good (and friendly) coworkers, opportunities to be promoted, opportunities for good hours each week, understanding in times of loss (family), etc.

Cons

Couldn't keep employees, only had a handful that stayed "long term" in my two years there. We went through 3 managers, two temporary managers, some key holders and assistant managers, etc (in my (over) two years there). Overworked, at times. It was hard to keep an eye on the people while running the registers during a "rush", and we, like other stores, had theft to worry about. I wanted more stocking experience, and was promised it, but never given it. I was mainly a cashier, and with little time to practice improving my stocking. Became a key holder and it was chaos, at times. And a whole list of other things...think I worked a double shift, open-to-close, and then had to return at opening the next morning. Plus me helping and closing at other stores, after becoming a key holder.
