Dollar Tree Assistant Operations Manager reviews

Everything is so unorganized. I literally didnt work for almost 3 weeks because after my assistant manager training I wasn't assigned a home store so, I was just bouncing from store to store. The district manager went on vacation and spaced making my schedule. Also, when he was making my schedules... I wouldnt know when or where I was working until one MAYBE two days before the beginning of the week. They also have this very thorough training that you're supposed to go through as an assistant manager but, extra hours are not given to your training store for you so they have to take from their normal hours which means you are the coverage for where they have to cut hours. So, you don't really get to go through the training like you should. The store manager actually gave me a lot of the answer and/or wrote the right answers in when he looked over my work book. When I was done with my training which I LOVED my training store they were beyond helpful and things ran pretty smooth... the next store I went to was completely different. What I was taught about what being an operations manager was not how the operations manager worked at the next store or the next or the next. lol. It was very annoying.
