      Pros

      The people were experienced and very knowledgeable. They were also very nice to work with on a professional and personal level. Treated contractors like they were part of the company.

      Cons

      Some employees were treated better or worse than others for no apparent reason. Felt like you had to produce every day or get let go.

      Dominion may not be my first choice of employment, but they have provided for me and my family for many years.

      Pros

      I enjoy working at Dominion because they have above average salary, and the benefits are not bad. They have approx. 11 paid holidays. Helping people when their light are out. Dominion gives alot to charitys, and give employees a day off each year to do volunteer work in the community.

      Cons

      We are always on call seven days a week. When there is bad weather, we can be sent anywhere in the United States. Sometimes customers, like to unload on Dominion employees. It may be a high electric bill, reliability of power, cost of a job, or new transmission lines in their backyard. Sometimes it is hard to jump from one department to another.

      Directors and up are disconnected! Understaffed and over-worked. Time off is good if you had time to take it! Cube culture with no privacy to hold meetings, limited conference rooms due to folks booking in an effort to get work done
