Pros

Great co workers, excellent benefits, time off, and flexibility from management. Great work environment.

Cons

Work was unevenly balanced. The good employees would bear most of the workload and work weekends. They were rewarded in their pay/bonuses, but the workload was unrealistic at times.

Not great, not horrible

Pros

Increased flexibility since COVID Reimburses Insurance Related Education Decent 401k match Most positions now have WFM or Hybrid option

Cons

Salary does not match work load with claims positions While dressing formally for events is understandable, the dress code for in-office seems dated. With inflation, dress clothing and shoes is the last thing most want to spend money on While sick time is generous, PTO does not go up to 15 days until after 7 calendar years of employment Work load is difficult if not impossible to complete within 40 hour work week, typically meaning you are needing to work early, stay late, work on weekends Taking more than a couple days off typically means coming back to a large amount of emails, voice-mails, and activities resulting in needing to work additional hours just to catch up Very limited options for career advancement
