- Only actually canvassing for 5 hours but paid for 8 - Very independent Job - Management is relaxed and nice - Quota not too hard to hit - Great pay

Cons

- Need to be exactly on time each day - Fired if not hitting quota on a consistent basis - Work in all weather

Pros

You can make an alright amount of money if you are a good canvasser, which basically means you must be good at sales. Of course you will be canvassing for a political cause or raising money for something, but it is basically sales.

Cons

The money you make is based on commission and so it can feel random - sometimes you know the turf you are working will not have people looking to sign up/give money and you'll be stuck there.
