Pros

Paid Lunch. Freedom within the work place (working in different locations, from home, customizable desks, etc). Lots of motivation and professional development focused conversations/actions.

Cons

Unstructured breaks/lunches (expected to work through lunch, but also acknowledges that we need to take breaks accordingly. Too much freedom)

Pros

The people at DoorDash are the best in class hands down. You will not find another startup that has amassed such a talented, smart, and driven group. That's why DoorDash is the leader in the delivery start up industry. They pay great for a start up and there's always opportunities for employees to advance internally.

Cons

It has started to become a larger start up and with it comes more rules, regulations, and so forth. Many people love the earlier stages of a start up and now DoorDash is quite a bit past that stage.

Pros

+smart, energetic people to collaborate with +incredible learning opportunities +teams push themselves exponentially to solve challenging problems +ownership to encourage change and adapt old ways of thinking +benefits are awesome - free DoorDash deliveries! 401k, gym, medical/dental/vision +thriving culture - we dash regularly!

Cons

-work life balance - as expected given the stage we're at! would like to see culture embrace and encourage folks taking the time they need for themselves in order to reboot and ultimately becoming stronger contributors -young management - awesome place to grow your career! leadership should embrace mentoring and training new leaders as we grow -transparency could be better - if we want to continue being a transparent culture, then transparency can't be "selective". empower everyone to continue communicating so we're more proactive, rather than reactive.
