Pros
Dow was my first work experience and it was amazing. I received extensive training in many areas. I was able to innovate and be really independent but accountable in my positions. It has a really capable workforce and very good employee benefits. I received many growth opportunities.
Cons
Sometimes the company lacks a clear direction - policies and strategies change all the time and you come become weary of that after some years. Also, although they are creating many policies to help women grow in the companies, it is still mainly a male-led organization; and it will continue to be this way until the managerial positions become a little less demanding. Managerial positions are so time consuming it makes it difficult to balance with family time.
