Personnel management methods include bullying and intimidation tactics R&D directors align under them spineless sycophants as line managers Micromanagement has run out of control, to the point of being demeaning to intelligent people Managers will stop at nothing to ruin careers so they can have their annual allotment - 5% - of "poor" performers.
