Pros

Very talented people who work well together. Very good systems and processes. Excellent manufacturing and engineering organizations with a strong concern for safety. Great place to learn and grow.

Cons

The current CEO has taken the company from great to good. He has initiated a series of strategies that have not achieved desired results and only result in more and more layoffs and disengaged employees.

Good place to start a career, and learn the business world. Lots of nice people and a great location. Right across from the liberty Bell

Cons

Everyone is in their mid 40s or older. Very political environment with the headquarters in Michigan. CEO and upper management are not very considerate of the little people. It's all about hitting that year end goal

Pros

They give people without any experience an opportunity to become an operator. The Dow culture is awesome, once you're in you're considered family.

Cons

New guys have no say in which plant they work in. So, you could end up in working in a very undesirable plant. Also, the training is totally luck of the draw because you could end up with a horrible trainer that doesn't even want to be training the new guy.
