Pros

Great first real job. Most people use DriveTime as a stepping stone into a real job. Every once in awhile we get free lunch?

Cons

Company is down sizing. Many people are quitting. Many people are getting fired. The 55K/yr is a lie. I'm a top salesman in my dealership and I'll be lucky to hit $45k this year. They force optional products on customers that they don't need. Look at the Google reviews. Only way a company can have that many is from the management forcing the employees to get them in every sale. Unless you had a bad experience. Then we "forget" to get a review. Also, I averaged 11 hours a day for 5 days a week in 2016. No work life balance.

Pros

Pay was okay.... Co-workers are awesome. Some of the managers were great. Nice building.

Cons

Goals were getting extremely hard to hit. When I first starting working there, maybe a handful of people were taking out bound calls so you talked to a lot of people, towards the end there were over 100 of employees, you would call the customer up to 3-4 times a day, so when they answered of course they were mad. the clients were bottom of the barrel, uneducated and entitled. Everyone wants a BMW with no money down at 100 a month with their 300 credit score. Its was a battle everyday with the customers trying to explain logic to them. They now have the computer system tell the customers "exceeds 3,000$" for a down payment. Try hitting your goals and bonus' with that garbage. kinda sabotaged the employees with that addition.
