Pros

I seriously love working here. The people I work with are amazing—it actually feels like a team and not just a job. The owner is super kind and involved, and management has been awesome. They take care of booking and managing clients so you can just focus on doing hair, which takes off a lot of stress. You get hourly pay no matter what, plus tips, and you can make a little extra with add-ons, product sales, and memberships (only when they’re bought the same day). It’s just a good vibe all around, and I feel really supported here. If you work for more than 90 days you can get up to 3 days PTO a year.

Cons

Some clients don’t tip and besides free blowouts and the 3 days of PTO there’s not health insurance which is not uncommon in our industry

Pros

Decent clients, fair tips, limited menu to learn

Cons

My location has issues with scheduling, cancelling or changing shifts at the very last minute (an hour beforhand), and weird break schedules (e.g.: break within the first hour then 5 hours back to back clients)
