Pros

Has a great set of company values, too bad they don't follow any of them

Cons

This company is so unprofessional, its a joke. DO NOT WORK HERE. The managers change time clocks on their employees to keep them from getting their earned overtime. They require you to work on your days off if they need you to and if you refuse they threaten your job. They not only let managers scream, swear and even physically threaten the staff, the senior management encourages it and any managers that don't run their shops like that get pushed out of the company. They reward anyone that throws others under the bus and push out the reliable honest workers. It is seriously the most toxic environment imaginable. No wonder the president of the company resigned recently.

Stylist

Pros

You'll learn quickly how to perform a decent blowout, the dress code is lenient, tips aren't bad, and there is a 50% discount on products.

Cons

Drybar does not care about their employees. The shops are run down and disgustingly dirty. Even though the price of blowouts have been raised multiple times, I have not received a raise from minimum wage in 5 years. They care more about quantity than quality. At times, I have been forced by management to work 6+ hour shifts with no break, which is completely illegal. STAY AWAY.

Pros

Product discount. Some of the other stylists there are talented.

Cons

Stylists are treated like animals by management. Wage-theft practices galore in this company! Expect to be required to sit there available to them without being paid. Lots of scrubbing toilets involved in this position. If you approach management with concerns, expect to be harassed. This job is only for people who hate themselves! When I started here, I had high hopes and really brought my A game to the table. Management is good at stealing joy and kicking the life out of employee's souls.
