Amazing Team and Company

Pros

The team at the Support Center (corporate office) and the field are all high energy, driven and passionate about doing their work well. The Support Center is devoid of typical office politics and cattiness and everyone truly gets along and is friendly. It's an "open door" office that truly is open door. The CEO's door is open for anyone to chat with him from the most junior to the most senior employee. He knows all employees by name, walks around the office just to see how people are doing and truly cares about people. Maintaining a positive office culture is highly valued at Drybar and the Company goes to great lengths to promote transparency, team work and inclusivity by hosting monthly town halls (think free food, fun activities, a truly transparent update on how the Company is doing and recognition of individual employees and department successes), fun "spirit" days (National Ice Cream Day, Halloween competition, baking competition, etc.), and holiday parties. The office even has its own "DJ"/Director of Team Member Experience who meets for lunch with every new employee and then has a follow up meeting after 90 days. While the team works hard to drive results, the office itself is not a stressful place and really prides itself on hiring people who are good at what they do while being nice and easy to work with. Oh and the biggest perk of all, free blowouts at Drybar and discounts on the amazing product line!!

Cons

Space was at a premium at the Support Center but it recently expanded to take over the entire floor and now there is plenty of space for everyone to have their own work space as well as plenty of meeting space and areas designated for creative brainstorming.

Pros

Love the culture and the office environment. Great opportunity for growth. Accessibility to executive team.

Cons

Growing so fast so it be a little overwhelming to keep up with the changes and building support systems to sustain what makes us successful, but that is a pretty good problem to have.

Pros

I can't tell you how nice it is to work in a salon without hearing the phone ring. The software is OK and could use some MAJOR improvement.

Cons

1) Clients aren't able to request stylists 2) No shampoo assistants 3) Stylists are paid hourly and have no motivation to stay on time 4) No capes, which might not be state board in your state.
