Pay is entirely too low for any adult in NYC paying their own rent. I made more money a week working summer youth then I did at DryBar. I was there for almost 3 years and not once have they given their stylist a raise. They have no respect for their stylist. I understand in the service world the customer is always right but I shouldn't have to be belittled and bad talked by someone just because I am providing a service for them. They cut hours left and right as a FULL TIME employees I shouldn't be working 15-20 hours a week when I am scheduled to work 35-38 hours a week. That's is completely unacceptable. They have no sense of fairness either favoritism is a MAJOR problem within this company. I've seen so many people get promoted simply because they're a favorite of the regional manager or of the lead master stylist and it's not a secret these people aren't 100% qualified for these promotions but they don't care if you're not "bleeding yellow" then you will never make it up the ladder.
