Retirement and health care benefits are good. Reliable company.

Cons

Pay is average. If you’re a high achiever, you won’t really make more money than anyone else. CEO doesn’t care about employees, just talks about shareholders. Constantly cutting budgets.

Pros

Decent start pay, somewhat flexible work environment. United Healthcare insurance is great, but prescriptions go through CVS Caremark, which is absolutely horrible. Strong focus on customers.

Cons

Very limited advancement opportunities unless you want to move to HQ in Charlotte NC. Although there are programs to support gay/lesbian employees, if you work for a homophobic boss there are no chances of raises or advancement, and the ethics department will do nothing to help.
