      Pros

      Great experience, using TCS and mostly still BARD equipment, EJs and IOs, USG pivs.

      Cons

      Unfortunately most of the nurses even in critical areas do not have good IV skills and nothing is done about it so VAST team is used like they are a phlebotomy team

      Great place to work, flexible work at home options.

      Pros

      I've been with DHTS for 16 yrs and they have evolved and matured significantly in that time. Always new technology or initiatives to work with and most departments have flexible work at home options. Salary can be competitive but the 403B benefits are probably one of the best in the nation.

      Cons

      Do more salary bench marking for our sector to make sure we stay competitive.

      Pros

      I have worked at DHTS for 16 years. The current management team is outstanding. They have focused on positive work culture, career development, and a sense of pride among the staff. Duke has outstanding benefits and the work is always interesting.

      Cons

      DHTS has grown from 150 people 10 years ago to nearly 1000 today. It is a large, and complex organization. The org structure seems to continually evolve to meet the needs of major project and initiatives. Not a good place if you like status quo. A great place if you want new challenges and opportunities every day.
