Pros

Learned some new machines and skills in the pediatric unit

Cons

Duke is a place that has such a big name, it thinks it doesn't need to treat its employees well. What an absolute farce. One of the worst working experiences I've ever had. We were staffed at 30% capacity at one point and working insane hours. Instead of paying us more like we had been requesting, they brought in traveling lab techs, who were making 2-3 times as much as we were and we had to train them only for them to then leave in two months time. For our "employee appreciation" we got chocolate bars.
