Poor management has no idea how to run the department holds grudges constantly says some very discriminatory things HR covers it up. Went through two directors in four years one supervisor in more than 80 staff members in a years time due to the lack of communication lack of respect lack of compassion , lack of pay . Duke is well below market value for all their employees. They do not promote based on merit or performance or education they promote based upon friendship and who you know. Supervisors do not know how to do the employees job and ask employees for constant help . They claim to have an open door policy do not believe it if you come in turn off an office speak to supervisor and or management or director they will hold it against you in the future . If you were sick and you have a doctors note from a dude facility and you work for Duke it is a possibility you will get wrote up regardless if you're sick or not if you're out .
