Pros

Not having patient contact in a call center. Having your own cube. Team building activities planned by the committee.

Cons

Felt like I was just another number. Duke will replace you quickly. Some managers actually care while a lot doesn't. People have just quit without a two week notice. Some within their 90 day probation. If there was a high call volume, you get a 30 minute lunch. It varies day to day so you never know when you get a hour or a 30.

Pros

Amazing benefits. Much opportunity for advancement and continued education. Depending on your department, they make sure you feel like part of the team. Really good PTO accrual once you have been vested.

Cons

Heavy politics. Pay is decent, but not competitive; however benefits packages helps tremendously.
