Pros

Flexible hours for students. Tasks are simple, and over-achieving is essentially pointless.

Cons

Repetitive and mind-numbing. No advancement opportunities.

Pros

Good teamwork generally. Some collegial relationships spring up across disciplines. Good employee education opportunities. Good opportunities to be in committees.

Cons

There is nothing dead like Duke dead. It has a high intervention cultural bias. Not good safety equipment. If you get injured, they will deny it happened. No ceiling lifts in the ICUs!! They discourage nurse initiated projects.
