      Pros

      Management is great. Teaching ESL at Durham Tech has been wonderful.

      Cons

      Part time hours. No pay for snow days. Lengthy breaks between semesters.

      Pros

      Great people to work with, students are so nice and want to learn. The curriculum is made for you; all you have to do is teach it using ready-made materials. This worked well for me since I had another part time job.

      Cons

      Low pay--1300 per course isn't much when the class meets 3 x per week and you live an hour from campus. Also, I had office hours and had to sit at the campus during those hours even if no students had schedule meetings with me.
