Pros

- Really varied work! I have focused on a mix of internal hiring/terms of business/HR/marketing/IT/payroll support/lots of different ad hoc projects. Every day is different and it keeps it interesting. - Great level of responsibility: After proving myself, I have been trusted with whatever I had capacity to take on and very much have had the opportunity to focus on the type of work that I enjoy doing most. - Supportive environment: Working in a small team, sat next to my manager and working closely with the CEO means there has always been someone to go to with questions or when stuck. - Social: The company wide ethos of collaboration and teamwork creates an amazing place to work. The morning and afternoon walks are a great way to get to know people you do not sit near, along with regular drinks and social events. I can truly say I have made some amazing friends here! - Company wide benefits: All the same amazing benefits are on offer for the Ops team as for the recruiters - monthly wellness contribution, long lunch break for exercising, BUPA healthcare, Deliveroos, team lunches, Birthday drinks, winning prizes on the DP wheel, long weekends away, Polo in the Park (the list goes on..!)

Cons

Definitely a role for someone who is willing to get involved in all the different aspects required in Operations, rather than focusing on one area eg. Marketing - but this is not a con if you like variety and being busy!

Pros

I have worked for a number of companies in my career and had good and bad experience, when I joined Durlston Partners I knew from the beginning that they were different but I could never imagine by how much. They were so patient with me and gave me so much support that sometimes it felt like it can not be real, they supported and inspired me even during the times when I was very close on giving up, reminding me of why I was there in the first place and make me feel like I can overcome anything. How many people can say that their CEO invited them to celebrate Christmas with their family so they would not have to spend it alone? and also make you feel like you are part of his family, even if you only been in the company for a few months.

Cons

Is so easy to get used to all the positivity and kindness that sometimes you have to remind yourself to be grateful for being part of such an amazing team.

Pros

You don’t have to come from a recruitment background to be blown away by the way things are done at Durlston Partners - but if you do, the difference is going to be even more staggering. Kindness, passion, humility, drive and discipline fuel anyone who works at DP, and are the the ethos of the company - which you can feel the moment you walk into the office for your first on site interview. Durlston Partners fosters a growth-led environment that encourages you to be the best version of you you. Toxic competition is replaced by a culture where knowledge is shared, everyone is supported (and will always offer support, regardless of seniority), and there is no place for egos - we all learn and grow together. You will have the opportunity to be surrounded by some of the most knowledgeable experts in the space and to work with top percentile clients and candidates, focussing on building relationships and networking as opposed to mindlessly chasing KPIs. From free book resources to ongoing expert industry training, from top health and dental insurance, to an extra half hour on your lunch break if you exercise, everyone is taken deeply care of at DP, and so much is invested in the development of anyone who works here - not just as recruiters and experts in our fields, but as people. P.S.: We have endless amounts of fun in all of this - think boozy long weekend country retreats, boat parties etc. For everyone, not just top billers.

Cons

We’re in the office every day - but trust me, once you start working here you will not want to work from home (and if you ever have to you will spend your day really missing being in the office).
