Great coworkers Strong coworker bonding activities and events High Volume coffee shops with regular customers

Cons

Poor Management Young management and employees = unnecessary drama and gossip Evening shifts are given to newer employees and are hard due to fewer employees working and more tasks needing to be done. The morning and afternoon crews trash the place and the two evening employees are spread thin trying to clean the whole place and take care of customers simultaneously.

*Excellent corporate culture *Headquarters (HQ) highly values their team members and pours unlimited resources into their employees *HQ truly cares about the wellbeing of humanity and positive social change

Cons

*While HQ has a utopian feel to it, these values don't always trickle down to the franchise owners. Dutch Bros has recently changed their franchise requirements to solve this problem, but my experience is that the "old school" owners only care about money and are very resistant to new changes. The owner of my franchise promoted unqualified people based on strange criteria...usually seniority, which resulted in a very authoritarian-style of management. I found that the employees with decent leaderships skills didn't usually stick around this franchise and transferred to other stands with more democratic processes. *Very few opportunities for career advancement

Get to love on people all day, comraderie with coworkers is fantastic, team atmosphere, casual dress, great first job, get to listen to music all shift, learn a lot about the industry, fantastic founders, culture is high priority

Cons

Not a good fit for someone who gets stressed out easily, sometimes there is drama, high turnover, due to age group of employees
