Pros

well financed, Good Ecom leadership from Mullen.

Cons

E&E/JLA only wants Americans for design and sales - if you have real ideas better work somewhere else. Also CEO lives the playboy lifestyle - rarely engages with customers. Not a long term situation.

Pros

After reading some of the reviews, I was compelled to write a review about my experience at E&E. I’ve worked for E&E for over 5 years. I work hard and have been recognized for my work. I have seen the same recognition for others in my team as well as other departments. I am not Chinese and that has not affected my ability to be successful here. The company is diverse culturally and this is an aspect I enjoy. It’s emphasized, from the top management, that team work is the key to success. Just like anywhere else, the expectation here is that you will work hard, work well with others and do a good job. However, there is also consideration for the employee’s work/life balance. For instance, there’s afternoon yoga , for those employees interested. There are ping pong tables and even tournaments for those interested. The hours are reasonable and flex hours can be an option for those who have long commutes. The benefits are good. All medical premiums are 100% paid for by the company. This is very rare in the workplace today. They have a good 401K plan with a support team for those with questions about their retirement plan. The company also matches up to 3% of your 401K contribution.

Cons

The company is growing in multiple areas of commerce and the pace is very fast. There are always growing pains associated with this kind of dynamic growth and it can be challenging to keep up at times.

Pros

Management is open to ideas and frequent changes to adapt to the market transition from store front to e-commerce. It has been exciting facing the day to day challenges which make working for E&E/JLA Home interesting! We pride ourselves for the collaborative working environment, nice culture, and oh yes, love the perks with employee discount.

Cons

Company is constantly growing and changing, it is not easy for new comers to navigate/comprehend the complexity of the products and the organizational structure. Employees face typical growing pain where written SOPs may require update very soon.
