Pros

Smart people on certain teams, challenging assignments, decent benefits --------- if you can pay the price of sacrificing your soul

Cons

Manipulative leadership team, zero work life balance, employees are allowed to act with complete insubordinance and are unprofessional. Makes it hard to get your job done without losing your sanity.

Pros

Most of the employees are smart and dedicated. The product is valued by customers. Most teams work together well. Compensation is reasonable.

Cons

New management is focused solely on cutting costs, and hires unqualified staff to keep the costs low. Employee benefits have been slashed. All of the health plans are high-deductible plans, and HMOs have been eliminated. Complexity of the business is not understood, and shortcuts are the norm.

Thank you for the positive comments about the talented employees at E2open. They are a large part of the success the company has experienced over the last year! I would like to correct on the comment regarding benefits. We offer one high deductible health plan with a health savings account, and two traditional PPO plans, with different levels of deductibles so that employees may choose the plan best for their needs. It is correct that the HMO plans in California were eliminated. We look at benefits as one piece of a Total Rewards program, which also includes an incentive bonus plan for all full time employeesl, training and development opportunities, a 401(k) match, and community volunteer events, parties and celebrations. It's an energetic and fun place to be.

Pros

The customers who rely on E2 to run their businesses are great. Not much more beyond that. Insight will try and repackage the product (tie it to another acquisition), and then put fresh lipstick and a new coat of glossy paint on this pig, and sell it to some one else. If you can get any equity, maybe you can make some money somewhere down the road if it doesn't fully implode.

Cons

Losing customers while they are shedding key employees and talent. Customer satisfaction is a big issue due to the aging technology and inflexibility of the platform. What made the company great was the supply chain knowledge provided by experienced people. New management has fired so many people with more cuts to come. The good talent they want to keep is looking for other jobs. It is going to be a rough, ugly couple of years. Don't join this company if you have other options. Management is not to be trusted by employees or the customer base.
