Pros

You learn a lot about how to write well for business settings, manage projects, and many other marketable skills. Employers I interviewed with after I left EAB were very impressed with what I did as a research associate. The perks are great, and the job is cushy. Pretty flexible workplace overall. Some cool people. The work is occasionally interesting. Plenty of opportunities for upward movement! Salary is good for a recent liberal arts grad. Working with other young people is great because we're just more chill overall and not as caught up on BS.

Cons

Keep in mind, this is not a nonprofit kind of job. It's a business job. You are serving the interests of the company. That's not necessarily a problem for some, but I wasn't a huge fan. Management can be spotty. I personally had an abusive manager, but everyone else above me was really great. People on research are more introverted and can be a bit awkward. The job gets very repetitive after a couple of months, and the opportunities to advance aren't really that exciting of positions.

Pros

The people that work at EAB are great - although many are disgruntled.

Cons

The mission is lost. Since the company has now been sold at inflated prices two times over, the focus is to recoup as much money as possible through selling products that may or may not be helpful to the institutions served.
