Good for freshers, a pathetic one for experienced
Pros
- A very good clientele - good scopes of learning during an initial phase of a career - allows special time for training - Good appraisal comparing to other big companies
Cons
- No job satisfaction if you are a sincere worker - No industry standard package - In support/RDBA managers can give advanced sick leaves without any sickness to their favourite subordinates. - People with fake/invalid degree certificates may reach the USA and apply for H1B in a later stage as well. No authentic organisation would retain such an employee with a fake certificates. - If you are an apple of manager's eyes, you may definitely get 100% hike and promotion. But, being hard-working is not sufficient to get management's attention. - HR and top management turn deaf ears to your fair complains - When I used to work, in our team, managers were allowed to work from home but the rest of the staff was expected to attend the office - Managers even treat non-favourites partially on the floor - If you wanna pursue any other better opportunity inside EDB, your manager doesn't relieve you with a promise to give you a higher position, which never happens. - If the manager wanna terminate you but the one can't as you are a good performer, he/she asks you work in night shifts for a longer period. - Certain policies designed by the HR can be overruled by managers, and the HR never takes any action. Favouritism is not new in the corporate world. But, when the top management is not interested in listening about it, one must understand that it's inculcated in the work culture and promoted by the management itself.
