Pros

Most people at corporate are good people Great benefits Company is sensitive to personal issues Rewarding work (for the most part) HR management is great; amazing staff Depending on your location and boss, you will get an opportunity to lead

Cons

Family business - unstructured and organized business practices Financial management and control need to improve. The lack of financial control affect the operations (refunds, purchase orders, etc) Senior management lacks experience and often makes decisions in "their" vacuum Only friends of management or people deemed (or heard) are worth it, receive competitive salaries; performance has nothing to do with pay. No internal training program. (Sad for a "workforce development" firm) HR recruiting practices are inconsistent (mostly because process is not really standardized) The company has a lot of "waste" in the system (process and human) Lack of experience of management leads to focus on wrong metrics. For example: revenues instead of profit margin (key metric in service organizations). Thus, wrong people get praised, while other do not get any recognition
