Business Outlook
Pros
Flexible hours, good vacation after the first year, great coworkers depending on the location. Great for lab experience.
Cons
Benefits are expensive-not feasible for a family as pay isn't high enough. Can be VERY demanding after an environmental disaster. I.e. loads of OT from coming early, staying late and working weekends. You are expected to work it because the client gets what they want even if its sketchy. Told by upper management that "we are not liable or responsible for a client's poor ethics." You have to fight to get a decent raise even with a full title change. Good luck getting more than 25 cents. Overall the environment depends on location but it is a decent.
