-Laid back atmosphere -Casual dress code

Cons

-Terribly low pay, impossible to live on -Difficult to move up if you're not a favorite, no matter how hard you work -No formal training. Basically you just had to shadow a lab tech around and that would be you're training. The biggest problem with that is obviously everyone does their work differently, so there is no real set standard by which to complete tasks, which made for a lot of useless debates about proper protocol in lab.

Pros

Schedule flexibility is the best thing about the job, but it comes at a high price. Its a paycheck, and like others stated, its a stepping stone.

Cons

its dangerous working with asbestos, nonetheless you're required to analyze countless amount of samples each day. Horrible pay, even worst, working with sociopath managers that make your life miserable. Your health will suffer, this is not worth a paycheck. Its criminal the way people are treated.

Nobody cares when you show up, as long as you show up. The company makes plenty money from you hard work n paying you like a slave.

Cons

Little or no room for growth. Employees are led on continuously by talks of "possible" training or 50 cent pay raises that never materialize. People need jobs so the next unlucky candidate is right around the corner.
