      Great for experience, bad for pay

      Pros

      Experience and entry level positions to get you started in the lab setting.

      Cons

      Low pay, poor HR communications and very little upward mobility unless you swing a manager position. They only care about the big locations at NJ and NY. If you are in the small branch lab, you do not exist

      Pros

      -Liked my coworkers a lot. We were a small office so it was very close knit. -Enjoyed working with the local clients, really nice people. -Acquired a lot of knowledge about mold & gave me new perspective on being able to trust how clean different environments can and should be.

      Cons

      -Was told to analyze as much as I possibly could in a work day. -Serious back and neck issues from sitting upright and still looking in a microscope all day. -Only getting a 30min lunch break felt criminal for the amount of concentration and horsepower it took to complete daily workload. -Felt guilty for taking 15 min breaks because I did not want to get behind and have to stay late to make sure workload was complete enough to make the next work day bearable. -Being a small lab with 2 analysts and getting overflow from a way larger lab like Orlando was very stressful to maintain without feeling burnt out. -Corporate didn't seem to care too much and had shady practices that rubbed me the wrong way.

      Pros

      They give you a chance to promote yourself if you understand what needs to be done. Some really fine people over there.

      Cons

      The Canadian labs were not well coordinated when I was there. Disconnection between head-office and individual Canadian labs. Some petty back-stabbing done by ladder climbers.
