Pros

Coworkers, Flexible Schedule, and never had to take work home with me.

Cons

After working here about 5 years, the company terminated my employment. After my mother's passing, there were increasing days where I had to spend time on my mental health or help my family navigate the issues that come with a sudden death in the family. The callous disregard to me as an employee was something I had never experienced before in my professional career. After my mother's passing, I was intimidated and written up by HR for various minor infractions such as "not clocking paid breaks", which I had never had to do in the previous 5 years I had worked there. The final straw was me requesting unpaid time off to go to my brother's wedding this summer and they denied my request, saying that "Unpaid time off was against company policy." I went to the wedding and upon my return, they gave me a write-up for taking the unpaid time off. They then proceeded to let me work for 2 more weeks before pulling me into the office at the start of the work week 2 hours after I had been clocked in to terminate me. Needless to say, if you're looking for a company that cares about you in a time of grieving or emergency, stay away from this company. They criminally underpay (I was making 22.70/hr after working there for 5 years) and overwork you as well.

Pros

Flexible schedule that's about it.

Cons

Work your but off there for them get canned for no reason.. Then the company makes up a false police claim that ur there after termination even when all the cameras show you weren't. I had to explain this to the police and even talked to a lawyer for defamation of character.

Pros

Decent coworkers Relaxed dress code

Cons

This advice is for all of the miserable employees: When your audits come around, save/ print all of your emails to give to the auditor when s/he asks if there are any problems. That means, if you've ever had to fix equipment you weren't qualified or comfortable fixing, if you know you were improperly trained to where it affects accuracy, if you've asked for additional workers because you're understaffed, if you frequently go over the recommended number of samples because you're overworked, etc... This is the ONLY way we will get things done- by involving the government when corporate gives us the runaround. Sing. Like. A. Canary. This will not only give us what we need, it will make work more bearable by putting all of the pressure back on corporate. Also, don't overwhelm yourself. Why crank out the work, if they're not willing to mirror that in your paycheck? Let your workload reflect your pay. In lay men's terms, get within the recommended range, but slow down :) Complaining to corporate obviously hasn't done much, so take the initiative by remembering that you have more influence than you believe.
