Pros

Pretty relaxed work environment, mostly chill co-workers and helpful when you need assistance or advice on work. Work isn't really that hard. Great work/life balance.

Cons

Pay is well below industry average. Training means little to nothing compared to the actual work. Management can be quite lacking. Not much growth after the first couple of months. Work is quite unstable due to contracts and honestly management doesn't know or stay in touch with PMs to relocate people for work and just put them on leave. Was put on leave for months waiting a pending contract then get transferred to another position which turns out has been vacant for a while but they were scared of moving me so they don't get understaffed. Even now in the middle of the pandemic, people are being let go but some how job postings are being put up.

ENSCO Response

ENSCO Response From the President Dear ENSCO former employee, The COVID-19 pandemic caused a downturn in one of our business areas within a specific geographic location. We tried to do what we could to keep the employees affected by this downturn on the job, but, unfortunately, we were forced to layoff or furlough 20 employees. ENSCO has 625+ employees and multiple business areas, so the vast majority of our employees have not been affected by the downturn. However, 20 affected employees are 20 too many, and the loss is painful. When the business area recovers, we are planning to bring some of these employees back. ENSCO’s overall business remains strong. As the economy starts rebounding from this pandemic, we expect to continue our expansion and to offer more growth opportunities for all employees. Our employee retention has been consistently above the industry average and many ENSCO employees have been staying with the company for long time. Our commitment is to continue to maintain the environment where employees can build satisfying careers and enjoy exciting work and many benefits the company has to offer.

Pros

work, life balance some talented employees still in business does not check references

Cons

Execs and top leadership have no plan. They push everything down to middle management and tell them to make changes for growth, which is impossible because of the lack of shared tactical plan at the top. Very cheap. There is no investment is tools for people to do their jobs.
