Flexible Hours (9/80 or half day Friday) Great benefits Relaxed work environment Casual Dress Understanding management Salaried position that continues at an hourly rate when you work more. Some people can get 1.5 times their "salary" because of this

Cons

Pretty good chance for a ton of travel Some people end up in the field for months at a time working 13+ hours a day for 7 days a week Some of the technology that you work with feels very outdated and specific to this field
