Pros

EOG consistently makes strategic decisions improve. The model is simple. Empower the individual to influence the team. When people are able to pursue their passions, without fear of repercussion from failure, you get what has become the strongest E&P company in the US.

Cons

If you are not a driven individual, you will not like EOG. If you need someone to tell you what to do, you will not like EOG.

Pros

Freedom to make an impact without being micromanaged. Be prepared to accept the consequences of failure as much as success.

Cons

Competition is freely picking people off as the company lives under the veil of belief that "no one can do it like eog"
